Looking for paver seal Tampa services? We are FJT Pavers Corp, and we help Tampa homeowners keep their patios, driveways, and pool decks looking sharp year after year. Florida is hard on pavers. The sun fades them, the rain shifts the sand, and weeds and mildew move in fast. Sealing slows all of that down. If your pavers look tired or you just installed new ones, contact us and we will walk you through your options. Call or text (727) 906-5614 to get a free estimate with no pressure.
For most homeowners here, yes. Florida sits in a tough climate for outdoor stone. We get intense UV, heavy summer downpours, and long stretches of humidity. Each of those wears pavers down in a different way. Sealing does not stop the weather, but it adds a protective layer that buys your pavers years of extra life.
Sealing is not required, and we will never tell you it is. Think of it the way you think about waxing a car. It is maintenance that pays off. Below we explain why it matters so much in our part of the state.

The sun is the first problem. UV rays break down the color in concrete and clay pavers over time. A sealed surface holds its tone far longer, and the right sealer can bring back that rich, freshly laid look.
The sand is the second problem. Pavers sit on a bed of sand, and more sand fills the joints between them. Rain and foot traffic wash that joint sand away. Once the joints erode, pavers start to shift, wobble, and separate. Sealing locks the joint sand in place and keeps the whole surface stable.
Then come the small invaders. Open joints are an invitation for weeds and ants. Bare pavers also soak up oil, grease, leaf tannins, and rust. And in our humidity, mildew and algae take hold quickly in shaded areas. A sealed surface resists all of this and rinses clean much more easily.
Short version: sealing protects color, joints, and surface all at once. Left bare, Florida pavers age fast.

We keep our process simple and thorough. Good sealing is mostly good prep, so we do not rush the early steps.
First, we clean. We remove furniture and planters, pull any weeds from the joints, and deep-clean the surface. Depending on the condition, that means pressure washing and treating any oil stains, rust, or mildew. The pavers need to be clean and fully dry before anything else happens.
Second, we re-sand the joints. We sweep fresh polymeric or joint sand into every gap and pack it down. This is the step that stops future shifting. Skipping it is one of the most common mistakes we see from other jobs.
Third, we seal. We apply a quality sealer evenly across the surface and let it cure. We help you choose the finish you want, whether that is a natural matte look or a richer, wet-look shine that deepens the color.
We are licensed and insured, so the work is done responsibly from start to finish. Want to see what this would cost for your space? Request a free quote and we will give you a clear number.

Most Tampa pavers do well with a reseal every two to three years. Driveways and pool decks that take sun and traffic may need it a little sooner. Shaded, low-use patios can often stretch a bit longer. When you see the color looking flat, water no longer beading on the surface, or joint sand washing out again, it is time.
Here is what to expect on the day. The surface needs to stay dry and free of traffic while the sealer cures, usually a day or so depending on the product and weather. We plan the job around the forecast so a storm does not undo the work. Afterward, cleaning gets easier. Spills sit on top instead of soaking in, and a quick rinse handles most of it.

Homeowners work with us because we explain things plainly and let them decide. We tell you when sealing makes sense and when it can wait. We do the prep other crews skip, and we treat your property with care.
